Logan Ferree
Before I was a wedding photographer, I was deep in the world of animal sciences—teaching college students, leading research projects, and preparing to begin a PhD. I loved the animals and the academics, but something was missing. Right before our honeymoon to Iceland, I picked up a camera to capture the landscapes… and found a creative passion I couldn’t ignore.
The truth is, I’ve always been someone who celebrates big and loves even bigger. (My friends once awarded me “Most Likely to Celebrate” at a PowerPoint night—and they weren’t wrong.) Whether I’m throwing birthday parties for our dogs, hosting holiday dinners, or showing up with a balloon for even the smallest milestone, I believe life is worth celebrating—and we were made for connection.
Photography has been the most joy-filled way to bring those pieces of me together. It’s how I serve others, feel closest to Jesus, and preserve what matters most—with intention, care, and a really big smile on my face. This isn’t just what I do. It’s one of the greatest honors of my life.
