Garden Wedding at Hudson Gardens
This Hudson Gardens wedding in Littleton, Colorado was a gorgeous late-summer day full of creative design and real, emotional moments. The venue has manicured gardens, flower-lined paths, large willow trees, multiple water features, and several ceremony locations to choose from. It’s also close to the city, which makes it a convenient wedding venue near Denver for couples who want a garden setting without a long drive for their guests.
Annelise and Ross were married here in August in Monet’s Garden. Their color palette of olive green, burgundy, and soft pink paired perfectly with the late-summer greenery. And as beautiful as the day was visually, it was equally sentimental. Every detail was intentionally chosen. Annelise made her own veil, arranged the reception florals with her friends, and their dog, Professor, walked down the aisle as their ring bearer, sporting a barrel handcrafted by the groom himself.

Why Hudson Gardens Is One of the Best Colorado Garden Wedding Venues
Hudson Gardens is an easy venue to love because it offers a lot of variety in one place. Whether you’re drawn to flower-filled garden paths, stone architecture, or romantic bridges, it has it all. The venue is also incredibly accessible for guests with a sidewalk running through the property and golf-carts available for shuttling guests between event locations.
One thing couples really appreciate about Hudson Gardens is that you can choose from three completely different wedding “settings,” each with its own ceremony and reception spaces. Love is Evergreen centers around The Inn at Hudson Gardens and its backyard, surrounded by evergreens and a cozy log-cabin feel. Love is a Rose includes a ceremony in the Rose Garden with the fountain and pergola, followed by a reception in The Bloom Room with its rustic beams and wrap-around windows. Love is a Bridge features Monet’s Place as the ceremony site, complete with willow trees, water lilies, and the iconic bridge, and a reception in The Pavilion overlooking the lake.
Every location at the venue is walkable, which helps the whole day run smoothly so you’re not spending time traveling between events. You’re never far from a romantic spot for portraits, an open lawn for family photos, or a bench in a quiet corner of the gardens for a private moment.

Inspiration for Your Hudson Gardens Wedding
What stood out most about Annelise and Ross’ wedding day was how intentional it felt from beginning to end. Nothing was added “just to add something.” Every detail had a purpose and tied back to what mattered most to them—family, their closest friends, Professor, and getting married.
Wedding Ceremony in Monet’s Garden
Since they chose not to do a first look, the ceremony held the emotional weight of seeing each other for the first time. They fell in love with the intimate feeling of Monet’s Garden and I did too. Professor (their pup) proudly carried the rings down the aisle inside of a small wooden barrel that Ross made by hand, and the entire crowd reacted exactly how you’d expect! As Annelise said, it was his day too!

Hudson Gardens Wedding Reception Design Inspiration
Their reception design was one I will dream about forever. Velvet green linens, warm candlelight, and fruit woven into the tables created a look that felt elevated and was every bit creative.
The fact that Annelise arranged the reception florals with her friends made it even more meaningful. It wasn’t just décor, it was something created together during the anticipation of this day.

A Blend of Editorial, Candid, and Classic Wedding Photography in Colorado
Annelise and Ross wanted wedding photos that highlighted the stylish elements of their day while also capturing all the real emotions happening around them, and that’s exactly how I approach every wedding. I blend editorial, candid, and classic photography so you never have to choose between a certain style. Some moments need a little guidance, some are best completely untouched, and others call for more guidance to create the traditional portraits you’ll cherish forever.
