WYOMING WEDDING VENDORS

Where is Diamond Cross Ranch?

Diamond Cross Ranch is located in Moran, Wyoming just 35 miles from the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in downtown Jackson. The location of this iconic wedding venue allows you to have the Jackson Hole experience in a quaint, remote location all to yourselves. Here is the Google maps address for the venue.

What is the max capacity of the venue?

The venue can host approximately 200 guests for your ceremony and reception. There are 200 padded wooden chairs and nineteen 60-inch round tables included in your venue rental. Good news – there is plenty of parking at the venue for all your guests and any shuttles!

What rooms and buildings are available for us to use?

If you are having your hair and makeup team come to you, there is an onsite bridal suite where you can get ready prior to the ceremony. If you have a smaller wedding party, there is plenty of room for you all in the suite. If you have more than 3-4 bridesmaids, I would consider getting ready offsite. Unfortunately, there is not a groom’s suite so the gentlemen would need to get completely offsite.

There are Men’s and Women’s restrooms inside the Red Barn that you and your guests can use. You also have access to the Wifi, outdoor covered patio, and outdoor fire pit.

You can have your ceremony on the manicured lawn with a jaw-dropping unobstructed view of the Tetons or in the 12,000 square foot Red Barn with elongated windows facing the Tetons.

Something you don’t want to miss is the chance to explore the property at sunset for golden hour couples portraits in the Ranch’s meadow. You don’t want to miss the Teton’s reflection on the water! Just be sure to coordinate with the venue as it is still a working ranch.

How long do we have access to the venue on our wedding day?

When you book Diamond Cross Ranch, you gain exclusive use of the property and facilities from 10:00am – 10:00pm. In this time, you can get ready on-site, your vendors can move in to set up all the beautiful details of your day, you’ll get married and then dance the night away!

A typical wedding day at Diamond Cross Ranch is 6 hours long beginning with a 4:00pm ceremony and a 10:00pm grand exit. Teton County has noise regulations that requires the venue to wrap up by 10:00pm, so you’ll have to plan accordingly! If you need more time at the venue, you can add on time beginning at a half hour for $500.

How soon should we book our wedding at Diamond Cross Ranch?

Being one of the most popular wedding venues in Wyoming, you should secure your date as soon as you are certain it is the venue for you. The venue can book out as far as 18-24 months in advance!

Are we required to use certain Wyoming wedding vendors?

Diamond Cross Ranch allows you to use your own selection of wedding vendors! Your wedding can be truly yours with total control over the florals, table decor, cake, DJ, planner, and photos. The venue does have a list of preferred vendors they will recommend, but you are welcome to use any professional wedding vendor you wish. Pro tip: I always recommend ensuring that your wedding vendors are a legal registered business with insurance.

If you opt to hire your own vendors, the venue will coordinate with them to be sure they follow any policies and procedures on your wedding day.

Can we bring in our own food and alcohol?

You are allowed to choose your own caterer and supply your own alcohol. Diamond Cross Ranch does offer delicious catering packages, but if you have your heart set on another menu, you can have it.

If you bring in your alcohol, you will need to sign an alcohol release waiver and hire a TIPS certified bartender to serve any and all alcoholic beverages.

Can we bring in tents, dance floors, or stages?

Additional rentals can be used in certain areas of the property upon permission from the venue. Your coordinator will be able to guide you through any logistics and additional fees associated with additional set ups or equipment.

Can we do a sparkler grand exit? Or decorate the reception with candles?

No open flames are allowed on the property. This means, you can’t do a sparkler exit at Diamond Cross Ranch, but here are some alternative and just as gorgeous grand exit ideas:

  • Cold sparks
  • Bubbles
  • Streamer cannons
  • Fibre optic wands

You may decorate indoors with candles as long as they are in a secure container.

Is there on-site lodging for our guests?

There is no on-site lodging included in your rental, but you or your guests can book a cabin at the Teton Cabins. This lodge is adjacent to Diamond Cross Ranch and owned by the same family!

Can we have our rehearsal dinner at the venue? or a bridal brunch?

Dependent on venue availability, you can book additional private events such as your rehearsal dinner or bridal brunch. These are not included in your rental and would need to be discussed separately with Diamond Cross Ranch to coordinate.

Are dogs allowed at Diamond Cross Ranch?

As if this venue couldn’t get any better, it’s also dog friendly! Your pup can be a part of your special day however you’d like. The venue just asks that your pup is leashed at all times. I highly recommend hiring a wedding pet attendant to care for your pet on your wedding day, so you can focus on getting married and rest easy knowing your pup is receiving professional care and undivided attention!

Will the horses be around on our wedding day?

Yes! During your ceremony, the horses will be released in the field behind you as you share your first kiss! Another option is to release the horses as you come down the aisle, so they can be present in the field for your whole ceremony and not just the end. I will say that releasing the horses during your first kiss is always a surprising experience for your guests and really adds to the excitement of the moment for you two!

How much does it cost to get married at Diamond Cross Ranch?

The cost of the venue ranges from $5,000-$16,000 depending on the size of the event, day of the week, and season. With any booking, you are required to submit a $1,000 damage deposit.

Diamond Cross Ranch is a high end Wyoming wedding venue for a reason – there is so much included in your rental! You’re getting exclusive access for a full day at one of the most beautiful ranches in Wyoming with the best view of the Grand Tetons there is for your large wedding. In addition, there are endless breathtaking locations on the property to take your wedding photos that only you have access to as a Diamond Cross Ranch couple. Did I mention the once in a lifetime experience of the majestic horses galloping through the field as you share your first kiss?
