Matt and Megan had a vibrant, joyful spring wedding at Woodlands wedding venue in Morrison, Colorado. The couple had SO MUCH fun during their wedding and danced their hearts out at the reception. The groom crowd-surfed, the guests made a jump rope out of their ties, and the bride put on heart-shaped sunglasses during the reception, which really showcased everyone’s free spirits and laid-back vibes!
The couple shared private vows in a secluded spot on the property with beautiful mountain views, and it was so sweet to capture it! I loved the spring colors and florals they chose for their spring wedding – they added a vibrant pop of color to the venue! The day concluded with a fabulous sparkler exit, which is a fun add on the venue offers.

Are you dreaming of a breathtaking wedding venue that seamlessly blends modern elegance with mountain views? Look no further than Woodlands, a stunning modern mountain venue located in Morrison, Colorado where you’ll be surrounded by trees and beautiful scenery. This gorgeous property is a true blank canvas, offering couples the perfect backdrop to bring their wedding vision to life. The property is spacious and very easy to navigate. I’m literally obsessed with this venue!
The venue also has an incredible rain/weather plan—the interior set-up is just as stunning as the outdoor ceremony on the lawn. In the event of inclement weather, you can rest assured that your wedding will be just as extraordinary indoors as it would have been outside.
For Megan and Matt’s wedding, we had to use the indoor option because we had 80 mph winds on their wedding day, and the power even went out! The venue owners are lovely to work with and they handled this situation so seamlessly!
Where is Woodlands Wedding Venue?

What is the Maximum Capacity of Woodlands Wedding Venue?
Woodlands can accommodate up to 200 guests, making it perfect for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. There are 200 cross-back reception chairs, 200 ceremony chairs, and all the tables you’d need for the guest count, which are included in your venue rental.
Can I Bring My Own Food/Drink?
You need to arrange your catering through one of their required full-service caterers. You have options to choose from to fit a variety of budgets and tastes. However, you can’t *technically* bring your own caterer.
Alcohol must also be catered by their approved vendor – Peak Beverage.
If you’d like a special food-related service, like an ice cream truck, you can arrange it with the venue!
Can I Bring My Own Vendors?
Woodlands has an exclusive provider list for catering, equipment rental, bar service, coordination, and music services. You may be able to make arrangements with the venue in some instances, but the venue has to pre-approve vendor decisions in these areas.
They have vendor recommendations for other areas, like florists, bakery, photography, transportation, etc.; however, you can also choose and bring in your own!
How Long Can My Event Last?
The official event time is limited to a maximum of 6 hours, and your wedding is required to end by 10 PM (with clean-up finished by 11 PM) due to county regulations. You can arrive at the venue at 12 PM to start getting ready. The earliest ceremony time is 4 PM.
What is Included in My Venue Rental?
The venue rental at Woodlands includes access to the entire property, both indoor and outdoor spaces. You’ll have use of the main event hall, the outdoor ceremony lawn, and various picturesque spots for photos. Additionally, tables, chairs, and a selection of decor items are included, along with a bridal suite and groom’s room for getting ready. If you choose to hire a live band, bands require the use of the groom’s suite as a green room, so you lose access to it.

The cost of getting married at Woodlands varies depending on the season and the day of the week. Prices range from $7,500 to $11,000. You can check out their pricing here!
When Can We Get Married at Woodlands?
Woodlands is open year-round for weddings, allowing you to choose any season that suits your vision. During summers, they have air conditioning, and it’s heated for winter weddings!
However, the months of December, January, and February will not be available for events in 2025.
