Lyons, Colorado Wedding Venue
Imagine your dream wedding not just as a formal event, but as the ultimate, elevated backyard party—a joyful reunion with all your loved ones amidst the breathtaking beauty of Colorado. At Stone Mountain Lodge and Cabins, this vision becomes a reality as you gather with family and friends for a celebration that feels like coming home.
Kyle and Jenae had the most vibrant and emotion-filled July wedding at Stone Mountain Lodge. From their endless smiles to joyful tears, their love truly radiates through their gallery. One of my favorite moments of the day was when they each hugged every single guest after their ceremony and personally thanked them for coming. Their wedding day embodied everything that Stone Mountain represents – an intimate and elegant backyard celebration surrounded by all your favorite people in a charming mountain town.

When can we get married at Stone Mountain Lodge?
Because of its mountainous terrain, Stone Mountain Lodge is open seasonally beginning mid-April through mid-October. In Colorado, April and May could still bring snow storms whereas the summer months can heat up, be perfect or bring afternoon showers and the fall is usually a stunning choice with the chance for a sporadic snowstorm in late September-October.
You can coordinate with the venue and your photographer to decide on your exact ceremony time depending on the month you are getting married!
Sunset Portraits at Stone Mountain Lodge
One of the most iconic features of the venue are the sweeping views of the river running through the mountains. After you sign your marriage license, we’ll head up the mountainside for private couples portraits! Some of my couples have used this time to have a picnic, share their first dance, or exchange private vows to soak in the magic of the day.
