Oh this wedding day at Venue 311 will forever hold a very special place in my heart! Every single wedding I capture is so special, and this one was extra special. I have known Matt since 7th grade (going on 13+ years) and to get to not only witness, but capture, him marrying the most wonderful woman, Katie, is a day I will never forget! They chose to have a wedding day that included all of their friends and family and included so much intentional time to be with one another and honor the sentiment of their wedding day.
They each spent their morning getting ready with their best friends and parents and chose to save their first look for the aisle. Their morning included chicken minis, praying with their friends, and all of their favorite people helping decorate and set up their wedding day. The way their friends and family served them on their wedding day was such a testament to the wonderful community they have!
They chose to have a first touch and prayer with one another before heading down the aisle. They shared personal, handwritten vows with one another and there was not a dry eye in the chapel. We all rejoiced in worship together and you could feel the joy in the room as these two said I do.
After their beautiful ceremony, we captured their family and wedding party photos before dancing the night away at their reception! They chose to have a donut wall and cake at their reception instead of a traditional cake and it was a hit with all of the guests, and absolutely adorable! Their guests sent them off at the end of the night with a classic sparkler exit and lots of hugs and well wishes!
