Andy and Martha, two of the most vibrant and loving souls I’ve ever met, have been inseparable since the 7th grade. Together for over 14 years now, their love has stood the test of time as they’ve weathered life’s storms and celebrated many accomplishments together. Now, they are celebrating their upcoming wedding with this Waffle House Engagement Session!
When we first chatted, they told me they loved sports (specifically the Nuggets), living downtown, riding bikes, exploring Colorado in their vintage camper, and classic diners. So, naturally, we included all of these in their nontraditional engagement photos and this blog posts highlights their adorable Waffle House photos!
A Waffle House Love Affair: Nostalgia and Vintage Vibes
These two are truly each other’s best friends and I think they could have fun doing literally anything. Their joy just radiates through their images and is so contagious to be around! Having shared many meals at this Waffle House before, it was extra nostalgic for them to now be taking their engagement photos in the same booths eating the same waffles they have for all these years! To add to the vintage charm of the beloved Waffle House, I captured their session on 35mm film and used flash photography – my favorite!

I had the literal best time capturing their vintage Waffle House engagement session and cannot wait or their wedding at Stone Mountain Lodge this summer! Stone Mountain Lodge is one of my favorite Colorado wedding venues – serving as the space for the ultimate, elevated backyard party. These two are planning a vibrant, colorful day filled with disco balls and lots of dance moves! My love language.
